Bespoke is an adjective for anything commissioned to a particular specification. “Custom-made”, “made to order”, “made to measure” and sometimes “hand-made” are near-synonyms.
The word bespoke is derived from the verb to bespeak, to “speak for something”, in the specialized meaning “to give order for it to be made” or commission, first cited from 1583 by the OED, with the adjective in its alternative form “bespoken” first quoted from 1607 in this sense. The term is generally more prevalent in British English than American English, which tends to use “custom” instead, as in custom car, custom motorcycle etc.

My business, Trisha Trixie Designs, creates vintage-inspired aprons and fashion accessories to help people feel “fun and fabulous!” My mission as a designer is to develop aprons that work as a fashion accessory like a scarf or a purse – that serve a utilitarian purpose in women’s daily lives while also helping women feel more beautiful, feminine and sexy. Currently, I am a solo entrepreneur who contracts with other seamstresses. Winning a grant from the “Dream Big, Grow Here” contest would help me hire a dedicated team to produce more aprons to fulfill larger orders from retailers, market my business by getting guest spots on TV shows, and get my aprons into more stores.
FYI “The top four online vote getters (via FACEBOOK votes) along with an additional wildcard selection from our regional contest host will then go on to pitch for the $5,000 prize. The winner of the regional contest will automatically become eligible for the $10,000 grand prize at the pitch off at EntreFest! 2014.
Please help a gal out and set your reminders to Vote for Trisha Trixie EVERY DAY!!!

Legs and their appearance have been an ongoing attraction for years. Not just recent years, more than YEARS ago, actually ions of years ago. One of the most popular accessorizing of these lengthy and even the not-so-lengthy limbs has been hosiery. According to Merriam Webster Online Dictionary the first known usage of hosiery dates clear back to 1739! Big changes occurred in the 1940’s with the seamless hosiery becoming more popular as silk hose were replaced with nylon for use on “dressy occasions”. Actual pantyhose appeared in the 1960’s. Today both hosiery and pantyhose are popular. Here are a few I found most fascinating.
Thanks for taking a “blast to the past” & present with us.

Leg warmers hit in the 80’s then fizzled out for years. Now that EVERYTHING is fashionable again Leg Warmers are no longer extinct. I have noticed, however, that they have not returned with as much grandeur as other fashions have. I still wear leg warmers, at home, just like I did in the 80’s. An in-depth search of the internet has enlightened me to the fact that these little items are more than just warm. With the right warmers and accessories, you have quite a “fashionable” set up.
From Football Fans
To fantasy fittings
From Holiday Styles
Leg warmers have a fashion statement for just about any occasion, age and style.
Do you wear Leg Warmers?

Hattily Ever After
Ever wonder if hats are your thing? Well just put one on and look in the mirror. Do you look good, do you look bad.. Buy it, take it home and get into the outfit that you are going to wear for your outing. If you’re a lady put your makeup on if you aren’t already wearing it. Put that hat on and check yourself out in the mirror. I know it’s going to sound absolutely silly, but totally do it; if anything you will laugh. Make sexy faces at yourself in the mirror. Think “I am the hottest thing since the next Top Model”. Look at yourself and say “OOOOH! Yeah I made a great choice. I am so happy with this purchase.”
Now for all you men out there…. you all know that you love hats and have at least two if not more. You probably have your favorite one that you always wear and it is so worn out you are saying “I can’t get rid of it I have had it through all the best times of my life and to part with it would be unheard of.” Men, you have hats are of all sorts; anywhere from ball caps to dress hats, to stocking caps.
At first men would wear hats just to protect themselves from the sun. Nowadays they wear them to stay warm or to look supper sexy in their duds.
It doesn’t matter your age, your culture or if you are female or male. You are Sexy, Beautiful and Worthy!
